CHOIR UPDATED REPORT - 2007

With God’s help, the Choir continued its ministry by giving effective
leadership during the worship services and other activities organized
by the Parish.

Our Parish Choir played an active role in the musical concert titled,
“Praise Messaiah” organized by the Marthoma Parish Choir,
Kuwait on 17th November 2006.

The Parish Christmas Carol Service on 20th December 2006 was
led by the Parish Choir. The Service was a time of worship filled with
meditation and narrations based on the theme,
“The Coming of the Messiah” . Rt. Rev.Dr.Zachariahs Mar Theophilus delivered the message of Christmas. The choir presented melodious songs and renowned anthems in both English and Malayalam.

As in the past, our choir has participated and presented songs and anthems in Christmas Carol Services organized by the Ecumenical Christian churches and Youth Chorus.

Easter Symphony 2007 was held on 12th April 2007 at the St. Paul’s Church, Ahmadi. This year’s Easter Song Service was based on the theme, “Under the shadow of the Cross”. Rt. Rev. Dr. Stephanos Mar Theodosius (Kolkatha diocese of Orthodox Syrian Church) delivered the Easter Message.

Over the years, Easter Symphony has been a great opportunity for various Christian churches in Kuwait to come together and worship the risen Lord in harmony. This year too the ecumenical song service was a time of wonderful music, inspiring meditation and beautiful fellowship. The participation of the following Church Choirs made the event a historical one:

# St. Peter’s C.S.I. Church Choir, Kuwait.
# St. Paul’s C.S.I. Church Choir, Ahmadi.
