10th HARVEST FESTIVAL (2004)

We are pleased to announce that the 10th Harvest Festival of Ahmadi Mar Thoma Parish,Kuwait is scheduled to take place on Friday, 19th November 2004, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the FahaheelGulfIndianSchool ground.

Inauguration: Shri P.M.Thomas First-Secretary,Indian Embassy.

 
MAIN ATTRACTIONS OF THIS YEAR’S HARVEST FESTIVAL

 
RAFFLE DRAW FOR TWENTY FIVE (25) VALUABLE PRIZES (Sponsored by various well-wishers)  

      CHRISTAIN MUSICAL EXTRAVAGANZA (By one of best Christian musical troops in Kuwait-The Praise Minstrels)

      FANCY DRESS COMPETITIONS FOR OUR SUNDAY SCHOOL STUDENTS.

      ORECHESTRA -By Parish Teens

      BRAIN STORMING & MIND BOGGLING GAMES FROM OUR YUVAJANASAKHYAM.

      SPECIAL STALL FROM OUR SUNDAY SCHOOL TO HIGHLIGHT THE CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS.

      FOOD COUNTERS SERVING DELICIOUS HOME MADE COMBOS, AND KERALA STYLE LUNCH SUPPORTED BY OUR SEVIKA SANGHAM.

      AMERICAN AUCTIONS FOR VALUABLE ITEMS, BINGO PRIZES, Etc.

SPECIAL PROJECT-2004

   1. Construction of a Balawadi & Mission House at Mamalakkandam, Kothamangalam.
   2. Sponsoring two Nursing students from Mission field area.
   3. Medical aid for the deserved from Malabar- Kunnamkulam Diocese.

When you are actively participating in this festival it is not just the fun and frolic that you are sharing, instead you are indirectly helping for a noble cause-Special Project-2004.
 
RAFFLE DRAW:  A raffle draw will be held in conjunction with the Harvest Festival. There are first and second prizes for selling the highest number of raffle draw coupons.  In order to be eligible for this prize, please return back the counter-foils of the sold coupons to Mr. Jacob Cherian  (Trustee – Finance Mob: 6029531) before 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 17th November 2004.

GIFTS:  If any Parish member wishes to offer any gift for ground sale or American Auction during the Harvest Festival, please contact the Office-Bearers as early as possible or hand it over at the Parsonage.

STALLS ON RENT:  Stalls at the festival ground will be made available on rent upon request by potential individuals or organizations for displaying/selling their products or for offering various services.  Contact Office bearers for information and booking.

TRANSPORTATION:  The edavaka has arranged transportation to all those who wish to attend the Harvest Festival from/to various locations/Company Camps/Hostels. For more details contact the Area Representatives.
