"Come to Jesus, Bring Every Child to Jesus" |
|
Sunday school lays the foundation for biblical
understanding. Sunday school provides not only Christian education but
also brings Jesus into the hearts of children. The Mar Thoma Church
recognized the importance of bringing up children in the ways of the
Lord by teaching them Bible from the very young days. The Mar Thoma
Sunday school Samajam formed in 1905 serves as the Central educational
institution for children. |
|
After the
completion of the Sunday school course, the student will be awarded
with a Course Certificate from the Mar Thoma Sunday school Samajam. |

Yuvajana Sakhyam |
|
The Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam was organized with a
view that all the young people in the Church should accept Jesus Christ
as their savior and Lord, and bear witness to His saving power. It was
organized in 1933 by a resolution of the Sabha Prathinidhi Mandalam.
For more details, visit Yuvajana Sakhyam available at the Marthoma
website. |

Branches of the Sakhyam were set up in the Parishes
with a four-fold program of worship, study, witness and service. The
Yuvajana Sakhyam is now an active organization of the church with
youths as its members. The members also help the church by participating in
various church activities. |
