The First Vacation Bible School by Ahmadi parish was inaugurated.Vicar
Rev Varghese M Thomas, Rev.Genil Abraham-VBS Director (assistant Vicar,Kuwait Marthoma parish),vicar Rev.Sunny Joseph-Orthodox parish,
Vicar-Kuwait Marthoma-Rev. Thomas Varghese, Asst Vicar-Rev.Raju Thomas
graced the occasion. There was a rally of Sunday School children on the occassion. VBS classes was scheduled from 13th-27th of June ,excluding wednesdays & Fridays. VBS came to close on 27th with a colorful ceremony. |

A list containing 31 families and 17 bachelor members was submitted to the Community Services Department of Kuwait Oil Company requesting them to allocate timing for Mar Thoma worship services at St Paul's Church as our request was initially rejected by Anglican Chaplain and ICC. |

Good Friday - Visit of Late Rt. Rev. Easow Mar Timotheos Episcopa (our first Diocesan Bishop) who encouraged marthomites to form a parish in Ahmadi. |

Formation of Mar Thoma Parish in Kuwait City. In May 1963, Rev. M. O. Oommen took charge as the first Vicar of this parish. Ahmadi/Fahaheel area was one of the prayer groups of Kuwait City parish until the formation of Ahmadi Mar Thoma Parish in January 1984. Mar Thoma Holy Communion services were conducted at Ahmadi Church once in two months for the Marthomites in Ahmadi. |

Visit of Rev. Philip Oommen (now the Most Rev. Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom Vailya Mar Thoma Metropolitan) in April 1952 as a guest of Kuwait Oil Company. The visit of Rev. Philip Oommen was a remarkable turning point in the history of Ahmadi Malayalee Christian Congregation.Rev. Philip Oommen conducted the first Holy Communion Service in Kuwait in Malayalam at Ahmadi in the Mar Thoma order of worship. | |
