VBS DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE

I am extremely happy to be part of the first VBS of Ahmadi Marthoma Church .It is in fact the result of the great vision of Rev. CV Mathew. Once I heard him saying, “Though 100s of children are able to go to a far away VBS, there are at least a few who cannot. So it is a good reason to hold a VBS here for those left outs. I admire the remarkable vision of that missionary zealot.

VBS is a skillful discovery and tool in the ministry among children. No strategy has left so much effective impact on children like VBS. As the name suggests it is designed for a vacation period. Fundamentally a vacation means something more than free and idle time spending. It must be a retreat. It must be a time of introspection. It must be a time for rediscovery of the true self. Only God can help us in this task. Only He can transform us meaningfully. So let our children to God during this vacation. Let’s spend some time significantly in God’s workshop.
